Physical Description
Body Shape: Large, elongated, and powerful with a torpedo-like build
Coloration: Golden-yellow to greenish body with dark vertical bars and iridescent blue highlights
Fins: Broad, often with red or orange accents on the anal and caudal fins

Tank Size: Minimum 300 gallons for a single adult, larger for groups

Large catfish (Pimelodidae, Doradidae)

Avoid small fish, as they will be eaten

Spawning Method: Egg layers, with pairs forming strong bonds and guarding their eggs

Large flat surfaces (like slate or rocks) for egg deposition
