Neolamprologus buescheri, commonly known as the Striped Lamprologus, is a highly aggressive small cichlid species endemic to Lake Tanganyika. It thrives in rocky shoreline habitats where it establishes territories. In the aquarium, a spacious tank with plenty of rockwork and caves is essential for reducing aggression, especially among subdominant fish.
