Species Overview
Corydoras loxozonus is a striking mid-sized Corydoras known for its bold diagonal black stripe running from the dorsal fin down the body toward the tail. This unique marking sets it apart from other Cory species and makes it a standout in planted or sand-bottom tanks.
It is a peaceful, social shoaling catfish that thrives in groups of 6 or more, showing natural foraging behaviour and reduced stress. Like all Corydoras, they require soft, smooth substrates and excellent water quality.
