Physical Description
Body Shape: Robust, rounded body with a slightly arched back
Coloration:
Bronze to olive-brown body with a metallic sheen
Dark lateral stripe running from gill to tail
Underside pale to white
Fins: Transparent to lightly pigmented
Note: One of the most common and widely bred Corydoras species in the aquarium trade. Albino and other color morphs (e.g. green, gold) are derived from this species.
