Rare Anubias Nana 'Petite'
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Petite'
Anubias Nana 'Petite' is a rare, compact variety of the popular Anubias barteri species, prized for its miniature size and hardiness. With thick, dark green leaves growing only 1–2 cm long, this slow-growing rhizome plant is perfect for nano tanks, aquascapes, and foreground or midground placement. Its ability to thrive in low light and without CO₂ injection makes it ideal for both beginner and advanced aquarists.
Due to its small stature and tidy growth pattern, 'Petite' is commonly attached to driftwood or rocks. It should never be buried in substrate, as this may rot the rhizome.
