Absolute Parasite+ is Effective against outbreaks of Skin flukes
(Gyrodactylus), Gill flukes (Dactylogyrus), Internal worms (Nematodes) Costia (ichthyobodo) Chilodonella (chilodonella) Trichodina, Hexamita, White Spot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis)
These Parasites can not generally be seen by the naked eye.
Absolute Parasite+ Will also help with larger parasites such as Anchor worm (Lernea), Leeches (Piscicola) and Fish Lice (Argulus) which can generally be seen on the bodies of the fish.

Cloverleaf Absolute Parasite Plus (or Absolute Wormer Plus) is typically left in the aquarium for 4 to 7 days before performing a water change, with many users recommending a second dose 7 to 14 days later to kill newly hatched parasites. For heavy infestations, it can be reapplied, sometimes up to 4 consecutive weeks.
Key Application Details:
- Duration: Leave the medication in the water for 4–7 days.
- Re-treatment: A second dose is often required, particularly for stubborn cases, after 7 or 14 days to break the parasite life cycle.
- Water Change: Perform a water change before the first treatment and another 7 days later (or when re-dosing).
- Precautions: Remove carbon from filters, but it is safe to keep UV sterilizers on, although some advice suggests turning them off for 48 hours.
- Dosage: The standard dose for aquarium use is 1g per 50L (11 gallons).
